Inaugural Scholarship Awarded
Inaugural Creative South Foundation scholarship awarded to University of Central Florida graphic design Senior Madison Ackerman.
At Creative South 2022, we awarded our first scholarship, The Jeremy Brooks Memorial Scholarship, to University of Central Florida graphic design Senior Madison Ackerman.
“For me, receiving the Creative South Jeremy Brooks Memorial Scholarship was an honor and a joy,” states Madison. “It was amazing to be recognized for my work in front of not only my peers, but my design heroes. The money from the scholarship also gave me some much-needed financial stability, which allowed me to focus more on finishing my degree and applying for jobs.”
Our goal is to raise $25,000 for our scholarship fund, which will be used to award scholarship prizes for students enrolled in university and college graphic design programs and to sponsor students to attend Creative South.
